Eye4Change: In/Sight
The In/Sight exhibition is the result of a series of photography workshops for young people aged 12-17 in Woolwich. These workshops provided an opportunity to learn and apply a range of creative and technical digital photography skills, supported personal development and gave voice to each lived experience.
The camera has been central to young people’s engagement in the project, documenting aspects of their neighborhood and enhancing their sense of identity and belonging. Each now has a visual and practical sense of how they can turn their ideas into reality, taking ownership of the goals they have and how they can achieve them independently.
The project was facilitated by Eye4Change, a charitable organisation, using the medium of photography to engage, educate, and empower children and young people of all abilities to raise aspiration, maximise wellbeing, and increase engagement in positive activities.
