Pixies Minotaur Box Set, designed by Vaughan Oliver (2009)
As the latest in the series of Hawksmoor public lectures, influential art director and designer Vaughan Oliver will be talking about his work. To be held in the Tessa Blackstone Lecture Theatre at the University of Greenwich, Stockwell Street, the talk coincides with the opening of an exhibition in the adjacent Project Space and Stephen Lawrence Gallery. This exhibition focusses on the long-standing collaboration between Vaughan Oliver and the US indie-rock band, The Pixies. There will be an evening viewing of the exhibition after the talk and refreshments will be provided.
“Hey” a beer brewed by South London Brewery Orbit Beers specifically for the exhibition will be available for tasting.
