The opening event will introduce the exhibition and some of the inspirational Muslim women nominated by students and staff of the university.
There will be an informal discussion about the contributions of and challenges faced by Muslim women, and the conversation will continue with refreshments.
The women featured in the exhibition are: Sharifa Yukubu; Rania Hafez, Poppy Jaman; Nudzejma Softic; Momina Ullah; Fatima al-Fihri; Gülden Sönmez; Khadlijah bint Khuwaylid; Tasnim Ali; Suhaiyma Manzoor-Khan; Halima Aden
